Preliminary Market Engagement Swindon Borough Council invites suppliers to contribute to a Preliminary Market Engagement in relation to the future provision of Community Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services and welcomes views on the questions set out within the supplier questionnaire. The Council is seeking feedback to better understand current market capability, service delivery models, operational considerations, innovation and indicative commercial approaches. Supplier feedback will help inform the future service specification and procurement strategy to ensure the Council delivers an effective, safe and value-for-money service. The anticipated total contract value is approximately PS750,000. The proposed contract duration is three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to three (3) additional one-year periods at the Council's discretion. Responses should be evidence-based where possible and include clear assumptions. Following submission, the Council may analyse themes across responses and may invite some suppliers to optional follow-up clarification discussions to explore aspects of their responses in more depth. Participation in this process is voluntary and does not form part of a procurement process, nor does it create any obligation on the Council or participating organisations. The information gathered will be used solely to inform future service planning. The closing date for responses and submission through the portal is 28 August 2026 at 15:00.
