## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Service to source Private Rented Sector Tenancies for High Risk Offenders." This initiative falls under the services industry category, with additional relevance to goods, and is focused within the region of Derbyshire, United Kingdom. A key date in this process is the upcoming market engagement event scheduled for 5th August 2026 at Derbyshire Constabulary, Ripley. The engagement process aims to review the requirement to source private rented sector accommodation for high-risk offenders managed under MAPPA arrangements, concurrent with Derbyshire's High Risk Offender Partnership work. Interested suppliers must confirm their attendance by emailing the designated contact point. Future notices related to this procurement will be communicated by 28th August 2026.

This tender provides promising business growth opportunities for enterprises specialising in housing services, property management, residential property services, health, and social work services. The procurement process has been structured to allow participation by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), which makes it ideal for businesses looking to expand in the public sector housing management space. Such businesses could benefit from strategic collaborations with the contracting authority, given the potential for renewal and the one-year contract period starting from 30th October 2026. By engaging early in the procurement process, businesses can contribute insights into the viability and pricing strategy, enhancing the prospects for securing these valuable contract opportunities.

## Notice

Further to the previous market engagement and tendering for a service to source private rented sector accommodation as part of Derbyshire's High Risk Offender Partnership work, we have reviewed our requirements and wish to engage with the market to consider the viability of these: We wish to ask your views on 1) The viability of securing an ongoing supply of private rented accommodation for individual tenancy; both self-contained and single rooms in shared accommodation that is suitable for offenders managed under MAPPA* arrangements across Derbyshire which is affordable and very close to Local Housing Allowance rental rates. 2) The pricing approach for delivery of this service We would like to invite interested suppliers to attend an in person event to discuss their market specific perspective on the above. The event will be held at Derbyshire Constabulary on Wednesday 5th August 2026 at 11:00am. Please email aimee.briddon@derbyshire.police.uk to confirm attendance.
