The ISVA Service works with individuals who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or assault, irrespective of whether they have reported to the police or not. The nature of the support that an ISVA provides varies from case-to-case and will depend upon the needs of the individual victim and the circumstances. There are a number of significant benefits delivered through this service which include the provision of advocacy, impartial advice, information and support. If reporting to the police, the ISVA will provide support from initial reporting, through the criminal justice process and beyond. An ISVA may also provide information on other services that may be required, such as health and social care, housing or benefits. Procurement Strategy: The intention is to publish this opportunity as an above threshold tender under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) through the Find Tender Service in accordance with PA23.
