## Summary

Teignbridge District Council, a public authority within the sub-central government of the United Kingdom, is in the planning stage of the procurement process for a Cash and Treasury Management System. This initiative, under the title "Supplier Market Engagement Invitation Cash and Treasury Management System," is aimed at procuring a modern hosted solution to support various financial functions and enhance operational efficiencies. The procurement falls under the 'goods' category, specifically targeting financial analysis and accounting software packages. A preliminary engagement session is scheduled with a deadline for interest confirmation set for 14th August 2026. The event, to be held on 25th August 2026, will take place in Newton Abbot, focusing on discovering available solutions before formalising procurement requirements. This planning stage precedes a future tender notice expected by 1st September 2026.

This tender provides a prime opportunity for businesses in the financial software sector, particularly those offering comprehensive cash management and treasury solutions. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with robust offerings in financial software systems will find this tender a suitable match given the outlined requirements for improved visibility, reduced reliance on spreadsheets, and stronger control measures. Companies that can deliver superior integration and support services and have an in-depth understanding of the banking and investment management domains are encouraged to engage in this process. Such engagement will not only aid in understanding the council's needs but also position businesses advantageously for potential future contracts commencing from 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2029.
