## Summary

The procurement process led by Angus Council, in collaboration with the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, seeks to establish a new framework for the provision of home and community-based care and support services. This initiative focuses on SDS Option 3 under the 2027 Angus Framework, categorised under Health and Social Work Services. Located in Angus, UK, this tender targets various lots, with services distributed primarily across North, South, and other regions of Angus. The tendering stage is currently active and open procedure, with submissions due by 10 September 2026. With an anticipated start on 1 April 2027, the framework is set to last four years, with options to extend further for up to nine years in total. The total estimated value of the framework is £248,358,000 GBP.

Business growth opportunities abound for organisations specialising in health and social work services, specifically those with expertise in home and community-based support, personal care, and housing support for individuals with various needs including learning disabilities, mental health issues, and physical disabilities. Providers with technical expertise in managing complex needs for both adults and older people will be well-suited to compete for this tender. Each lot offers a chance for qualified and experienced providers to secure a position within a flexible framework. Additionally, given the comprehensive nature of the planned services across the diverse geographical areas of Angus, businesses that demonstrate the ability to deliver tailored and impactful community benefits as part of their proposal will be highly regarded. Prospective bidders are encouraged to leverage available support and ensure compliance with the stipulated criteria, whilst considering the potential to align their services with community needs and value.
