## Summary

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is currently in the tender stage of procuring an Integrated Procurement, Tendering and Contract Management Platform. This initiative focuses on the acquisition of an e-sourcing portal to be utilised by the council’s staff and related organisations. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically targeting procurement software, with a deadline for tender submissions by noon on 2nd September 2026. The process employs an open, competitive flexible procedure, aligning with the UK legal framework, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Located in Barking, the project holds a value of £480,000 and invites responses through electronic submission.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses involved in the development or provision of procurement software solutions. Companies adept at delivering commercial off-the-shelf products with configurable elements that meet regulatory and transparency requirements will find this opportunity particularly fitting. The project’s scope underscores the potential for growth, providing services not only to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham but also extending to its arms-length bodies and partner organisations. The selection criteria indicate an openness for SMEs and VCSEs, further expanding the potential business landscape. Given the emphasis on quality, price, demonstration and social value, businesses that can provide comprehensive solutions with a focus on these areas are well-positioned to compete.
