This contract, valued at £500,000 over a two-year term from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2028, is for the Step-up Dermatology service, typically catering to non-two-week-wait dermatology patients in the UKJ26 region. This procurement provides substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in dermatology services, particularly those experienced in community-based healthcare models. SMEs offering innovative solutions and focusing on collaboration and integration may find this contract relevant, given the service's emphasis on improving local access to dermatology care and reducing secondary care dependence. The comprehensive service model fosters business growth through potential community engagement and training opportunities, aligning with NHS England's Social Value Model. Businesses capable of supporting sustainable healthcare delivery while maintaining high standards in patient care could significantly benefit from such contracts.
