## Summary

The Common Services Agency, known as Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland), is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Injection Equipment Paraphernalia". This procurement falls under the goods category and is specifically classified within the medical industry, focusing on medical needles and other related products. The procurement is intended to supply NHS Scotland Health Boards and Special Boards across all UKM locations. It includes valuable items such as medical needles, syringes, and naloxone products. The total contract value is estimated at £4,000,000. The process is governed by the legal basis CELEX 32014L0024, with future notices expected by 28th October 2026.

This tender presents growth opportunities for businesses specialising in medical equipment and pharmaceutical products. Companies with expertise in manufacturing medical needles, syringes, or similar paraphernalia, particularly those with an interest in harm reduction innovations, will find this tender particularly suitable. The framework includes several lots, such as pre-packed equipment and naloxone products, providing diverse opportunities for suppliers. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that can adhere to UK Government guidelines and deliver across Scotland will be ideal candidates.
