## Summary

The procurement process managed by the NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board involves the award of a contract to the Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau for a specialist Mental Health Advisory Service. This procurement falls under the category of rehabilitation services, with the procurement method classified as a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract, worth £82,000 over a two-year period, commences on 1st April 2026 and concludes on 31st March 2028. The service will be delivered across Surrey Downs and East Surrey, targeting individuals with mental health issues requiring inpatient or secondary care support, and the procurement is currently at the award stage.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on healthcare and community services, particularly those specialising in mental health services. Organisations that can provide robust, cost-effective advisory services, like the Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau, which utilises trained volunteers for service delivery, would be well-positioned to compete. Companies adept in forming strong multi-agency partnerships with local statutory and voluntary bodies, and capable of addressing health inequalities, could find substantial growth and collaboration opportunities within this contract framework, enhancing their service impact and social value contributions in line with the Integrated Care Board's strategic aims.
