## Summary

Scottish Water is seeking a contractor for the supply, installation, and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Scotland as part of its commitment to supporting a low-carbon fleet. The procurement process, currently in the tender stage, is classified under "Electrical installation work" and falls within the works industry category. This tender is open under a selective procurement method, using a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition. Interested parties must submit their applications electronically by 7th September 2026. The Scottish Water headquarters is located in Glasgow, and the contract is valued at £12,000,000.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities, particularly for companies with expertise in delivering electrical installation projects and managing large-scale infrastructure undertakings. Businesses capable of providing a comprehensive end-to-end service covering supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure are well-suited for this opportunity. Given the project's scope, which spans both urban and remote areas across Scotland, companies with strong logistics and project management capabilities will be at an advantage. Additionally, firms that adhere to industry regulations, such as the IET Wiring Regulations and health and safety standards, are encouraged to compete.
