## Summary

The Dover Harbour Board is planning a procurement process titled "IT Infrastructure Framework," aimed at enhancing their IT systems in Dover, United Kingdom. This process is in the planning stage as of 7th August 2026, with a closing date for expressions of interest set for 30th September 2026. The framework revolves around four key areas: Access Control, CCTV, Data Cabling & Infrastructure, and Radio Infrastructure. The procurement method employed is a selective, competitive flexible procedure, allowing for the establishment of a framework agreement. The tender falls under the "works" category in private utility services, and it has a significant scope as it is above the threshold limit. It is anticipated that work will begin on 1st January 2027 and last until 1st January 2030.

This procurement offers businesses an excellent opportunity for growth, especially for those specialising in telecommunications equipment, electrical installations, and security systems. Given its focus on IT infrastructure and related installations, companies that provide supply, testing, maintenance, and repair services can significantly benefit. Moreover, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate. The award criteria are balanced favourably between quality (40%) and price (60%), making it suitable for companies of varying sizes. The project is structured into multiple lots, providing multiple entry points for businesses with expertise in specific areas such as cabling, CCTV, and radar systems.
