## Summary

Buckinghamshire Council is in the planning stage for the procurement of Shared Lives Services, which is categorised under health and social work services. This procurement process is located within the region of Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, and is designed to promote independence, choice, and community inclusion for adults requiring care and support. The request for information (RFI) is currently available, with a deadline set for 21st August 2026, aiming to collect insights from the supplier market. The planned contract is a four-year term with a projected start date of 1st July 2027, including the possibility of extension, and is structured to support both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs).

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the health and social care sectors to contribute to the community while expanding their service portfolio. Organisations that focus on delivering personalised care services, particularly those with a track record in supporting individuals with complex needs, could leverage this opportunity to grow their operations. The structured nature of the procurement process, backed by Buckinghamshire Council’s strategic objectives, makes it a compelling prospect for capable and dynamic service providers looking to establish or strengthen their presence in the public sector.
