## Summary

NHS Thames Valley Integrated Care Board commissioned miscellaneous health services covering autism and ADHD advice and support. The service is for parents, carers, families, children, young people and adults with autism and/or ADHD, including people without a diagnosis. It includes advice, practical support and workshops. Delivery is across the Thames Valley area, with the buying organisation based in Oxford. The procurement was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of the Commissioner. This is a specialist community and wellbeing service rather than a clinical treatment contract, and is relevant to providers experienced in supporting neurodivergent people and their families across different age groups.

The process has reached the award and contract stage. NHS Thames Valley ICB used Provider Selection Regime Direct Award C, without prior publication of a call for competition, and selected SOLUTIONS 4 HEALTH. The contract was signed on 31 July 2026 and has an active status. Its initial 12-month term is expected to start on 1 October 2026, with an optional further 12-month extension. The expected value is £103,514.20 for the initial term, £103,514.20 for the extension and £207,028 over the full potential term. Evaluation considered the existing provider’s ability to meet the proposed requirements, weighted at 80%, and price, weighted at 20%.

This award shows established demand from NHS Thames Valley ICB for accessible autism and ADHD advice, support and workshops delivered across a defined local area. A credible future competitor would need experience supporting children, young people and adults, as well as parents, carers and families, including people seeking help without a diagnosis. The buyer’s decision also indicates the importance of demonstrating consistent service quality, safeguarding, information governance, reporting and compliance with NHS contract conditions. Providers should be able to evidence reliable delivery against a detailed service specification, accurate invoicing and quality reporting, appropriate policies and documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively with NHS commissioners while addressing access, health inequalities, choice and social value.
