The requirement covers parts and accessories for vehicles and their engines, supplied for Fiat, Dennis Eagle, DAF, Iveco, Scarab, Schmidt and John Deere vehicles. The goods will be delivered in the United Kingdom. There are seven separate areas of supply, each focused on one vehicle manufacturer, allowing a specialist parts supplier to target the makes it supports. This is a goods procurement for businesses able to source and supply approved replacement parts rather than vehicle maintenance, repair or general fleet services. Cost carries 90% of the evaluation weighting and social value offers 10%. This opportunity suits SMEs and voluntary, community or social enterprises that are authorised OEM distributors for one or more of the listed vehicle makes. Suppliers should be able to provide the relevant approved parts reliably across the contract period and support warranty requirements. The selection requirements include compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, appropriate insurance, ethical procurement and fair treatment of the supply chain, environmental policies and procedures, and human resources policies and procedures. Businesses with established manufacturer relationships, dependable parts sourcing, suitable operational capacity and experience supplying specialist commercial vehicle or machinery parts are well placed to compete.
