## Summary

Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust procured adult integrated drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services in Buckinghamshire. The requirement covers rehabilitation-related support for people living in 20 recovery flats, together with housing advice and support for One Recovery Buckinghamshire service users and staff. Housing Advice Clinics are delivered across Buckinghamshire through drop-ins, telephone, Skype or FaceTime, and email. The service is supported by dedicated resources managed and employed by the provider: a 0.6 full-time-equivalent Support Worker and a 0.6 full-time-equivalent Senior Support Worker. The provider also supplies management oversight and covers training, travel, information technology, phones and expenses. This is a healthcare and housing-support service, classified under rehabilitation services.

The procurement is complete and was awarded through a below-threshold direct award under the Procurement Act, using an award procedure without prior publication of a competition. Connection Support was awarded the requirement and the contract was signed on 13 August 2026. The contract value is £123,220 including the one-year extension period. The award covers one requirement: support for the 20 recovery flats, including absence cover and attendance at relevant meetings, plus housing advice clinics across One Recovery Buckinghamshire. The award was made on the basis of the direct-award route and the stated requirement, rather than a competitive tender. The contract is active, and the buyer is Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust.

This opportunity indicates recurring demand from Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust for integrated substance-misuse recovery and housing support in Buckinghamshire. Suppliers well placed for comparable work would combine adult drug and alcohol rehabilitation experience with practical housing advice, tenancy-related support and recovery-housing delivery. Credible providers would need to support residents across a defined housing portfolio while also operating accessible advice clinics through face-to-face and remote channels. The requirement favours organisations able to provide appropriately experienced support-worker and senior-support-worker staff, maintain cover for absences, and provide management supervision. Capacity to manage training, travel, IT, telephony and other operating costs is also relevant. Connection Support is recorded as an SME and had previously supported this existing requirement.
