## Summary

Crescent Purchasing Consortium Limited, with NWUPC Ltd, is procuring building cleaning services for education and the wider public sector. This opportunity suits established building-cleaning providers able to deliver consistently in schools, colleges and other public-sector settings. Suppliers can compete for a specific region or demonstrate the operational reach, workforce and management systems needed for national delivery. The open framework is expected to accommodate up to 140 participants and will reopen competition every two years across its eight-year series, creating a route to future call-off competitions as well as initial appointments. The lots are expressly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary, community and social enterprises, so smaller or mission-led providers can participate where they have the relevant service capability and geographic capacity. Bidders should be prepared for a multi-stage process involving mandatory participation requirements, dialogue on call-off contract terms, and later quality and pricing assessments.

## Notice

This process is a re-tender of the current Building Cleaning Services Framework let by CPC and expiring in May 2027. CPC intends to put in place an Open Framework for the appointment of building cleaning suppliers who specialise in cleaning services, across education and also the wider public sector. The purpose of this Framework is to give CPC members a compliant route to market. The collective spending power of Members utilising CPC frameworks is harnessed to drive down costs, which often allows for savings delivery which our membership otherwise would be unable to achieve individually. The Open framework will consist of 4 frameworks within the series. It is intended for the series to conclude on 21/03/2035.
