## Summary

South Ribble Borough Council and Chorley Council are seeking a fully managed fleet solution covering contract hire, servicing, maintenance and relief vehicles. The requirement includes refuse collection vehicles, food waste collection vehicles and sweepers for environmental services; tippers, cage tippers, panel vans and other light commercial vehicles for operational support; and grounds maintenance, agricultural, plant and other specialist service vehicles and equipment. Experience coordinating mixed municipal or commercial fleets, maintaining specialist vehicles and keeping council services supplied with replacement vehicles would be relevant. The procurement is identified as suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises, but suppliers must meet the economic and technical requirements in the tender documents.

## Notice

The Contractor shall provide a fully managed, end-to-end contract hire, service, maintenance and relief vehicle solution that is suitable for an above-threshold public contract procured in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The contract shall cover a mixed fleet of operational, commercial, specialist and support vehicles required to deliver Council services: * Core environmental services fleet, including refuse collection vehicles, food waste collection vehicles, and sweepers. * Operational support fleet, including tippers, cage tippers, panel vans and light commercial vehicles. * Grounds, agricultural and specialist service vehicles, including grounds maintenance vehicles, plant and specialist equipment where required. * Future fleet transition vehicles where these are specified in the tender pack or introduced through an approved contract change mechanism.
