The work supports the Council’s enforcement function as Planning Authority and is intended to maintain the credibility and integrity of the planning process. The requirement covers four service areas: demolition, alterations and replacement construction for buildings and structures; works to existing properties, including windows, doors, roofs, finishes, advertisements, fencing and air-source heat-pump enclosures; works to land, including access junctions, surfacing, paving, drainage, groundworks, landscaping and tree works; and site clearances involving vehicles, caravans, scrap metal, containers, refuse, construction materials and agricultural scrap.
