Demand on the LAS services is increasing year on year, with June 2026 seeing the highest number of 999 calls in a single day in its history. This demand is driven by a number of factors and the Trust seeks to understand and respond to these factors on an ongoing basis. When additionally faced with unforeseeable or unprecedented incidents which increase this demand LAS has identified that an established list of resilience partners can play a part in dealing with this increased demand. The Trust is looking for partners to work with collaboratively to deliver outstanding care for all of our patients.
