The services will provide access to skip hire, waste collection, transport, recycling and disposal, with the aim of delivering compliant, reliable and environmentally responsible waste solutions. Work will be delivered across Wales, including Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan. The framework is intended to create a network of qualified suppliers serving public sector clients across these areas. This procurement is at the planning stage: Barcud Shared Services has stated its intention to establish the framework, but has not yet invited tenders.
