The requirement covers property damage and business interruption, employers’, public, products and property owners’ liability, business combined and office risks, money, all risks, computer, contract works, personal accident, professional indemnity, fidelity guarantee and crime. Separate requirements cover motor risk, engineering insurance and inspections, cyber risk, terrorism and political violence, directors’ and officers’ liability, and alternative risk financing. Yorkshire Housing may appoint one or more providers, depending on the lot. Insurance brokers, insurers, risk advisers, claims specialists and engineering inspection providers with relevant sector capability may find this relevant. The procurement has reached tender: Yorkshire Housing invited offers through a selective, competitive flexible procedure with multiple stages, including conditions of participation and three tendering stages with possible shortlisting at each round. It has eight lots, individually evaluated, with multiple awards possible; a supplier may receive up to seven lots. The expression-of-interest and enquiry deadline was 22 September 2026 at 17:00. Strong bids will offer a choice of suitable insurers or cover options, a skilled team covering relationship management, claims, broking or underwriting and insurable risk management, and consistently high-quality service, including oversight of third-party providers and insurers. ## Notice Yorkshire Housing Association are looking to appoint one or more providers to deliver their Insurance and related services for Property, legal liability and other general (non-life) insurable risks. The programme will require Insurance and related services for risks that may include but not be limited to: property damage and business interruption, employers, public, products and property owners liability, business combined/office, money, all risks, computer, and contract works. This list is to be decided at the sole discretion of Yorkshire Housing. Suppliers will be required to have the financial ability to deliver the programme, including Insurers with a minimum rating of 'A-' from standard and poor, 'A-' from AM Best, or an equivalent rating by an independent and reputable credit rating agency and approved by the bidder's market security committee. In the case of any rating less than A-, the contracting authority will evaluate and accept the nominated insurer(s) at its sole discretion, subject to disclosure and acceptance prior to the ITT bid deadline of the bidder's market security committee's latest report, including written recommendation from the bidder's market security committee.
