It covers three areas: supply and installation of white goods, including cookers and fridges; supply and installation of carpets and other flooring; and supply of beds and mattresses. The requirement is for goods and associated delivery and installation services, including carpets, solid flooring, domestic appliances, beds and mattresses. Suppliers may bid for one, two or all three lots. The framework is intended to appoint up to three suppliers per lot, with a maximum of nine suppliers overall. Work will be delivered across Northamptonshire for West Northamptonshire Council’s temporary accommodation service. The process has reached tender: the council invited offers through an open procedure. Enquiries had to be submitted by 18 September 2026 at 17:00, and completed tenders and required documents had to be received by 30 September 2026 at 12:00. The expected award decision date is 20 November 2026. Each lot is planned to run from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2029, with an optional 12-month extension to 30 November 2030. The estimated framework value is £900,000 excluding VAT (£1,080,000 including VAT). Lot 1 is £400,000 excluding VAT (£480,000 including VAT); Lots 2 and 3 are each £250,000 excluding VAT (£300,000 including VAT). Price carries 40% and quality, including social value, 60%. This opportunity suits suppliers able to provide and install white goods, carpets and flooring, or beds and mattresses for temporary accommodation. Lot 1 requires appliance supply, delivery and installation; Lot 2 requires flooring supply and installation; Lot 3 requires the provision of beds and mattresses. The council states that small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary, community and social enterprises are suitable for all three lots. Bidders should be able to manage rapid property turnarounds, maintain reliable delivery and installation capacity, and respond to potentially increased volumes from April 2027, when housing stock currently managed by Northamptonshire Partnership Homes is expected to return in-house. Suppliers appointed to the framework may receive direct awards or compete in selection exercises for higher-volume requirements. ## Notice West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is undertaking a competitive procedure to appoint a maximum of three suppliers onto each Lot for the provision of white goods, beds, mattresses, carpets and flooring to support the rapid turnaround of temporary accommodation properties across Northamptonshire. The framework will be divided into the following three lots: * Lot 1: The Provision and Installation of White Goods * Lot 2: The Provision and Installation of Carpets and Flooring * Lot 3: The Provision of Beds and Mattresses A maximum of 9 Suppliers will be appointed to the Framework.
