The requirement includes removing and disposing of the existing equipment before installing the replacement system. This is a specialist equipment supply, installation, removal and ongoing maintenance service, covering metal laundry machinery and related support. The work is associated with repair and maintenance of metal containers and machinery (CPV 50500000). Delivery and service activity is centred on Defence Munitions Gosport in Gosport. The procurement is structured as one lot. The equipment and support are intended for use within a defence munitions facility, so suppliers should be able to work in an operational Ministry of Defence environment and manage the full transition from existing equipment to the new installation. The RFI also invites innovative approaches, so businesses with alternative technical solutions should consider contributing during the market-engagement phase. ## Notice The Authority has a requirement to competitively procure new Metal Laundry Equipment (MLE) followed by the provision of in-service support for the new MLE at Defence Munitions Gosport (DM GOS). This requirement will include the removal and disposal of the extant equipment prior to the installation of new. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gauge Industry's ability to meet the requirement, including inviting proposals of innovative solutions and indicative pricing for meeting the requirement.
