## Summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is procuring education and training services for online delivery of bespoke Video Interaction Guidance (VIG). The requirement covers a two-day accredited VIG training course, accreditation support for existing practitioners, advanced practitioner and supervisor accreditation support, and supervision and accreditation for new practitioners. The training is intended for practitioners working principally in infant mental health, with the provider expected to adapt both the training and its implementation to their learning and practice needs. The work will be delivered for practitioners in Scotland. This is a single service requirement led by a public-sector health body and central purchasing organisation, suited to specialist training providers rather than general education suppliers.

The procurement has reached tender: PSD Scotland invited suppliers to submit proposals through an open procedure. It has one lot, with electronic submission in English and no variants permitted. The tender deadline was 12 October 2026 at 13:00. Bids were scheduled to open at that time, with the award period beginning then. The contract period is 16 November 2026 to 30 September 2029, with an option to extend by six months where required. Evaluation is weighted 70% technical quality and 30% commercial cost. The requirement is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement. Suppliers should review the economic and technical selection criteria when assessing whether they can qualify and compete.

This opportunity suits a provider with current VIG-UK accreditation as a trainer, supervisor and accreditor. It also requires demonstrable expertise in infant mental health, particularly the ability to develop and adapt training for practitioners’ learning and practice requirements. Strong candidates will be able to deliver accredited VIG instruction, support existing practitioner accreditation, guide advanced practitioners towards supervisor accreditation, and provide supervision and accreditation for new practitioners. The work calls for both formal training delivery and sustained practitioner development, including supervision and implementation support. It is therefore best suited to an established specialist provider with recognised VIG-UK standing, relevant infant mental health experience, and the capacity to support several practitioner pathways.
