The requirement is divided into five lots: 14 12-yard REL skips; three 15-yard builders’ roll-on roll-off containers; 12 35-yard open-top roll-on roll-off containers; eight 40-yard roll-on roll-off compactor containers; and eight 40-yard open-top roll-on roll-off containers. The equipment will support household recycling centres and the containment of cardboard, garden waste, timber, metals, household waste and heavy rubble-type waste. The goods are to be delivered in Northern Ireland. This is a goods procurement for the Council, with each lot covering a distinct container type and specification. The procurement has reached tender: the Council invited offers through an open procedure. Bids were to be submitted electronically or by the stated online route by 12 October 2026 at 12:00. The intended award decision date was 19 October 2026 at 23:59. Each lot has a contract period from 26 October 2026 to 25 October 2027, with an option to purchase additional containers of the same specification until 30 September 2028. Experience producing durable waste containers for recycling or waste-management operations would be directly relevant to the requirement. ## Notice Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council currently have a requirement for the supply and delivery of various skips and containers to Chem Specification. There are five Lots being tendered for under this procurement exercise, with more information provided within the Tender Pack. ### Lot Information Lot 1 - 14No. 12 Yard Rel Skips The design and build of 12-yard REL skips. These skips must be designed and built to CHEM Specification and are primarily for the containment of cardboard, garden waste, timber and metals and other such waste streams as collected at Council Household Recycling Centres. Options: The Council wishes to reserve the right to purchase additional skips and containers of the same Lot specifications up to and including 30th September 2028 following any Lot award(s) made under this tender. An appropriate % uplift will be considered on price (i.e. in line with inflation at that time), if applicable and within reason dependant on timeframe from initial order. Lot 2 - 3No. 15 Yard Builders Roll-on Roll-off Containers Design and build of 3no. 15-yard builders roll on roll off containers. These containers must be designed and built to CHEM Specification and should be robust in design and contain heavy waste types e.g. rubble type waste streams. Options: The Council wishes to reserve the right to purchase additional skips and containers of the same Lot specifications up to and including 30th September 2028 following any Lot award(s) made under this tender.
