## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire intends to commission an adult sexual violence hub and therapy support service, classified as social work and related services. The service will support adults living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who have been sexually assaulted, raped or abused, whether recently or in the past, including abuse experienced during childhood. Support will be available to victims and survivors whether or not they have reported an incident to the police. Close relatives of victims and survivors may also be supported where appropriate. Quality will be the dominant consideration when the procurement reaches the market, so organisations should prepare evidence of service quality, clinical or therapeutic capability, safeguarding practice, trauma-informed support and effective outcomes for victims and survivors.

## Notice

The Service will support all adults living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who have been sexually assaulted, raped or abused, either recently or in the past, including when the adult was a child. It will support victims and survivors regardless of whether or not they have reported the crime to the police. It will also support close relatives of victims and survivors as appropriate.
