The services provided under this modification form part of ongoing strategic and operational activities and are delivered within established systems, processes and delivery arrangements developed during contract delivery. Appointing an alternative supplier for the interim period covered by this modification would result in significant inconvenience and substantial duplication of costs. In particular, an alternative supplier would require mobilisation, onboarding and knowledge transfer activities before effective service delivery could commence, followed by a further transition to the Department's future sourcing arrangements. The Department's considers this would create avoidable transition costs and unnecessary operational disruption."
