## Summary

Derry City and Strabane District Council is commissioning a youth-focused Ending Violence Against Women and Girls programme for young people in the Faughan and Sperrin District Electoral Areas. The service is intended to support delivery of The Executive Office’s Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Strategic Framework and build on programming undertaken in the two areas over the previous two years. This is a public service combining community, social, health and related consultancy activity, delivered in Faughan and Sperrin in Northern Ireland.

Relevant experience of place-based partnership working, youth engagement, programme management and outcome-focused delivery will be important. Organisations must also be suitably qualified and capable of delivering the complete programme across both Faughan and Sperrin areas.

The provision of the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Programme for Young People in the Faughan and Sperrin District Electoral Areas (DEAs) will build upon the previous programming that has been undertaken by these two areas over the last two years. The appointed organisation shall be required, as a condition of contract, to work in close collaboration with the Rural Partnership Boards in Faughan and Sperrin, together with other relevant stakeholders, to co-design and deliver tailored, place-based programmes that respond to the specific needs of each rural area. The organisation shall ensure the active involvement of the Local Growth Partnership Boards throughout programme development and delivery.
