The main requirement is replacement or abandonment of gas mains and services, including excavation, backfilling and reinstatement. Related work can include customer connections, network reinforcement, work on mains beneath buildings, gas service work, meter-box installation, gas safety inspection and testing, gas installations, directional drilling, impact moling and asphalt surfacing. Work may be design-and-build or build-only, from individual projects to small programmes. Delivery is across England, covering the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, East and West Midlands, East of England, London, South East and South West. The scope accommodates suppliers delivering one-off projects as well as small programmes of work, and includes both design-and-build and build-only gas work. Suppliers should be able to work across the broad English delivery area. ## Notice This QUDM will provide a platform for Local Delivery Partners (LDP's) to support the delivery of our Planned Gas Mains and Services works, primarily focused on the delivery of Mains Replacement (MRP) and Non-Mains Replacement Programs (Non-MRP) and other related gas mains and services works, including but not limited to customer connections, reinforcements, built-over mains, services and associated works. The main replacements works will comprise of excavation, back fill, and reinstatement to facilitate Mains and Service replacement and abandonment.
