The scope covers delivery of Police Constable Degree Apprenticeships in England and Wales, the Degree Holder Entry Programme for police forces in both countries, accreditation services for relevant programmes, and apprenticeships including police-related roles. The work is for police and fire service framework participants, with delivery across the United Kingdom. Suppliers can compete for one or more of five lots: PCDA in England, PCDA in Wales, DHEP, accreditation, and apprenticeships. The opportunity therefore spans both higher education and vocational training, as well as programme accreditation; providers focused on only one of these areas may still find a relevant lot. Successful suppliers may receive work through direct awards or further competitions, depending on the participating force’s requirements. Multiple suppliers can be appointed to each lot, and the framework is designed to reopen at years 3 and 5, offering later entry points as well as the initial competition.
