## Summary

Ayrshire College is seeking a technical consultancy partner to develop a modern, secure and scalable enterprise data platform. The work covers mobilisation, discovery and assessment, target design and a roadmap, followed by potential foundation and priority delivery, and transition and enablement. The first three stages are guaranteed; the College will decide whether to proceed with the final two after reviewing progress and the contractor’s performance. The service is for Ayrshire College and will be delivered in Ayrshire, Scotland. This is systems and technical consultancy, rather than a purchase of platform equipment alone.

Ayrshire College invited offers through an open procedure. The procurement has reached the tender stage. The tender deadline was 11 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC; the planned evaluation period began at that time. The contract period is 540 days, with the first three stages envisaged to take six months and stages four and five a further 12 months. The estimated value is £200,000. There is one lot. Bids are submitted electronically in English, and bidders must provide indicative programme plans for the first three stages. Award is weighted 80% to technical questions and 20% to price; variants are not allowed. Bids must remain valid for 90 days.

This opportunity suits technical consultancy firms with demonstrable experience and suitably qualified specialists in enterprise data platforms. The partner will need to work with a college to assess its current position, shape a target design and delivery roadmap, then potentially establish priority platform foundations and support transition and enablement. Suppliers should be able to plan and deliver a staged engagement, including an indicative programme for mobilisation, discovery and assessment, and target design. The later implementation stages depend on the College’s review of outcomes and contractor performance, so bidders should be equipped to show progress and deliver across both advisory and technical delivery work. The stated scope calls for a secure, scalable platform capability; no particular technology, certification or minimum staffing level is set out.
