## Summary

The University of Worcester is seeking a video, audio and vital-signs observation and recording system for medical simulation and clinical skills teaching. The system must let users remotely view, stream and record simulated medical procedures and related teaching activity. Students, staff and examiners will use recordings to review performance, support feedback, assess students and provide evidence of assessment outcomes. This is a supply requirement covering audio-visual equipment and medical computing and information systems. The equipment and associated system will be used by the University of Worcester in Worcester.

The University invited tenders through an open competition. The submission deadline set was 15 October 2026 at 12:00. The contract period is scheduled to run from 9 November 2026 to 8 November 2028, with an option to extend for two further 12-month periods. The published procurement value is recorded as £0, so it does not provide a usable price estimate. There is one lot. Tenders are assessed on technical fit and ability to meet the requirements (50%), price and overall value for money (30%), and experience and capability (20%). Bids may be submitted electronically through the University’s tender portal.

This opportunity suits suppliers able to provide an integrated recording and observation solution for clinical education, combining video, audio and vital-signs capture. The system needs to support remote viewing, streaming and recording of simulated procedures and teaching, with playback that enables performance review, feedback and assessment evidence. A strong bid will demonstrate close technical alignment with the University’s requirements, alongside relevant experience and the capability to deliver and support a system for medical simulation and clinical skills teaching. Technical fit carries the greatest evaluation weight, followed by price and value for money, then experience and capability. Suppliers should be able to explain how their solution serves students, teaching staff and examiners in assessment and reflective learning.
