    "description": "This is a Provider Selection Regime Wales (PSR Wales) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR Wales.' The proposed provider has satisfied similar contracts providing outsourcing of histology samples processing and or reporting for Swansea Bay University Health Board.(according to the detail outlined in those contracts, and when taken into account the key criteria and applying the basic selection criteria) and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard (taking into account the key criteria and applying the basic selection criteria) Decision maker: Richard Pryce Associate Service Group Director Surgical and Specialist Services.
