## Summary

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) bought Microsoft Power Platform case-management transformation services for its Corporate Reporting Review team, working with the FRC’s Information Technology team. The service supports the team’s statutory role in monitoring and improving the quality of corporate reporting in the UK. The FRC regulates auditors, accountants and actuaries, and sets the UK Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes; it is also the UK’s competent authority for audit. The procurement is for information technology services, delivered in London and the West Midlands.

The procurement is complete and the contract is active. Better Group Limited, trading as BetterGov, was selected. The FRC used limited competition through the Government Commercial Agency’s G-Cloud 14 framework. The contract was signed on 30 September 2026, with a stated value of £298,595 excluding VAT (£385,314 including VAT). Its initial period runs from 30 September 2026 to 30 September 2027, with a six-month renewal option and provision for additional services of the same or similar nature; the maximum period ends on 30 March 2028. The procurement was below the relevant threshold and comprised one lot. The published award information does not set out the evaluation criteria.

This award demonstrates demand from the FRC for Microsoft Power Platform case-management transformation, specifically supporting corporate reporting review and its regulatory work. A credible competitor would need to show it can deliver and transform case-management services using the Microsoft Power Platform, and work effectively with both a specialist review team and an internal IT team. Experience supporting regulatory or compliance processes would be relevant to the purpose of the service. The buyer used G-Cloud 14 and limited competition, so suppliers seeking comparable work should be positioned to compete through that framework route. BetterGov, identified as an SME, won the contract, showing that this requirement was deliverable by a smaller supplier. The contract also allows for further services of the same or similar nature.
