## Summary

Royal Museums Greenwich is seeking a wayfinding signage contractor for the Royal Observatory Greenwich First Light project. The work covers the production, supply and installation of signage throughout the site, including inside buildings and outdoors, alongside development and installation of the contractor’s design portion. The contractor will coordinate with the project’s setworks principal contractors and other client-direct works packages during off-site and on-site activity. This is a signage and museum-site wayfinding services contract, with delivery at the Royal Observatory Greenwich in London. The procurement is intended to provide clear wayfinding across the site as part of the First Light project.

The buyer has reached the tender stage and is inviting shortlisted contractors to submit offers following a two-stage competitive flexible procedure, with an initial supplier questionnaire. Expressions of interest were due by 12:00 noon on 12 November 2026; questions were due by 17:00 on 5 November 2026. The contract period is 28 May 2027 to 29 August 2028, with an award decision scheduled by 28 May 2027. The estimated value is £220,000 excluding VAT (£264,000 including VAT). There is one lot. ## Notice

This procurement exercise is to secure a Wayfinding Signage Contractor to produce wayfinding signage across the Royal Observatory Greenwich site, as part of the ROG First Light Project. The Wayfinding Signage Contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the wayfinding signage, as well as the development and installation of the Contractor's Design Portion, across the ROG site, internally and externally. Their responsibilities will include: - the production, supply and installation of wayfinding signage across the ROG site. This will include signage inside buildings as well as external signage. - coordinating with the OPOE and OPITU Setworks Principal Contractors at all times, during both offsite and onsite periods - coordinating with a number of other client-direct works packages The Wayfinding Signage Contractor will also be responsible for certain Contractor Design Portions. This will be a two-stage procurement process including a PSQ process from which contractors will be shortlisted. Shortlisted contractors will be invited to Tender.
