## Summary

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is seeking a supplier to design, manufacture, supply and deliver a fully automatic cardboard baling solution for Silent Valley Waste Transfer Station in Ebbw Vale. The requirement includes installation, commissioning, testing, user training and ongoing maintenance support. This is a supply contract for recycling equipment, with associated installation and support services. The equipment is intended to bale cardboard at the waste transfer station; suppliers should therefore be able to provide a complete, integrated solution rather than equipment supply alone. Delivery and installation are at the Silent Valley site in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent.

The council invited offers through an open competition. The tender was issued as one lot, with a contract period running from 16 November 2026 to 1 March 2027.
