## Summary

The London Borough of Newham is inviting providers of specialist weight-management and movement services for people of all ages to join Category 2 of its Healthy Lives Dynamic Purchasing Vehicle. The requirement is for health and social care services, delivered in Newham, London. This is an onboarding round: suppliers apply to qualify for the purchasing vehicle rather than responding to a single defined service delivery contract. The vehicle is intended to bring together providers able to deliver the specialist support described in the category. Suppliers interested in this field should consider whether they can provide suitable services for children, young people and adults and meet the qualification requirements.

The procurement has reached tender: Newham invited suppliers to apply through an open procedure, using its electronic procurement portal. This is Round 14 of onboarding to the dynamic purchasing vehicle. Applications were due by 4 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC; the stated evaluation period began at 13:00 UTC that day. The contract period is 1,500 days. The procurement is organised as one category, covering specialist all-age weight-management and movement services. No monetary value is stated. Suppliers must complete a qualification stage and answer the tender-specific selection questions in the Selection Questionnaire, which addresses mandatory and discretionary exclusion grounds. The invitation says future onboarding rounds will be run during the vehicle’s lifetime, with the Council deciding when they open and close.

This opportunity is suited to providers with the expertise and operational capability to deliver specialist weight-management and movement services across all age groups. Applicants need to demonstrate relevant experience, business integrity, capability and appropriate insurance, and be ready to complete the Council’s qualification questions and selection requirements. The all-age scope may suit providers able to support children, young people and adults, either directly or through an appropriate service model. The onboarding route is designed for suppliers seeking access to a purchasing vehicle for this service category, rather than a one-off commission with a specified service volume. Providers should assess whether their delivery experience and organisational assurance can satisfy the qualification process.
