## Summary

Merseytravel is procuring works to remove and dispose of asbestos insulating board (AIB)-backed dado cladding panels along the North and South tubes of the Kingsway Tunnel. The work also covers removing and disposing of the associated brackets and support fixings, and redundant cabling fixed behind the panels, followed by decontamination and cleaning of the tunnel structure. ## Notice

Merseytravel is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced licenced asbestos removal contractors (LARCs) for the removal and disposal of AIB backed 'dado' cladding panels to the length of the Kingsway Tunnel North and South tubes. This will include the removal and disposal of associated bracketry/ support fixings and the redundant cabling fixed behind dado panels and subsequent decontamination and cleaning of the structure.
