The Service aims to ensure looked-after children receive timely, high-quality Initial Health Assessments in line with statutory and national guidance, with all actions and recommendations focused on the child or young person's best interests. 

This notice is an intention to award a contract under the most suitable provider process.

The approximate lifetime value of the service is PS330,000 doe the 3 + 2 year contract (PS66,000 per annum)

This is an existing service with a new provider.

The contract will run from 15th December 2026 to 14th December 2029 with the option to extend for a further 1 +1 years

### Procurement Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice.
