## Notice

The Royal Parks are excited to present an opportunity for venue hire and catering services within the much loved, historically significant grade 2 listed Georgian mansion, Pembroke lodge. Pembroke Lodge's beautiful setting and sweeping views across the Thames Valley has made it a cherished landmark throughout its varied and rich history. Pembroke Lodge opened a cafe just after the war and hosted its first wedding around 50 years ago. Pembroke Lodge's history of welcoming everyone from privates to princes is one of the things that makes it special. It's not a museum piece, but a unique cafe and venue with a character all its own in the unrivalled natural environment of Richmond Park. TRP are looking for a Concessionaire with a background in events management and catering services, to run the services provided within Pembroke lodge grounds including the wedding and venue hire business, The Butler's Pantry restaurant cafe and an external Kiosk in line with the new contract period from late 2027. To be successful, the Concessionaire will need to have relevant knowledge and experience, with a consistent track record in service delivery. Additionally, they must have the capacity, financial ability, and knowledge within the market to sustain a commercially viable service over the entire period of the contract. The services should be run with high standards of health & safety, sustainably operated, and environmentally conscious with superb customer service, supporting TRP Values, Vision and Charitable Objectives.

### Planning Information

This Preliminary Market Engagement (“PME”) has been prepared by TRP Trading Company Limited (“TRP”). 
TRP is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process for the Provision of Catering Services and Venue Hire at Pembroke Lodge. 
Prior to commencing the procurement, TRP wishes to engage with the market to understand the level of Supplier interest and gather information to support the development of TRP’s requirements. As part of this PME exercise, TRP is inviting interested suppliers to complete the Market Consultation Questionnaire (“MCQ”).
A separate PME presentation has also been issued as part of this PME exercise. The presentation provides further background on Pembroke Lodge and an overview of the proposed scope of the procurement. Suppliers should review the PME presentation when preparing their response to the MCQ.
The deadline for responding to this PME is 12:00 Monday 26th October 2026. Suppliers must submit a completed MCQ by the deadline.
