## Summary

The Centre for Process Innovation Limited (CPI) is seeking a supplier to provide pre-employment screening services. Checks include identity, right to work, DBS, driving licences, directorships, education, employment and personal references, occupational history, adverse financial records, and professional or technical checks. The scope also includes end-to-end Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening, with a single consolidated report for each candidate covering identity, right to work, criminal records and employment history. The supplier must provide an online portal through which CPI can request checks, track their status and retrieve results. This opportunity suits established employment-screening providers able to deliver the full range of pre-employment checks and an integrated BPSS workflow. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate an easy-to-use portal for submitting requests, monitoring progress and securely retrieving outcomes, with single consolidated BPSS reports. The buyer expects support for single sign-on and evidence of a recognised UK or international information-security accreditation, such as ISO 27001 or equivalent. Bidders should be prepared to explain their data architecture, protection of primary and backup storage, and which staff can access CPI data. Strong candidates will also show robust data protection and regulatory compliance, reliable routine, ad-hoc and urgent reporting—including reports within 24 hours—quality controls for data accuracy, sample reports, and a formal process for escalating and resolving account issues.

CPI are looking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to provide a Pre Employment Checks service. The checks that CPI mainly request are outlined below, however please note that this list is not exhaustive: Driving Licence Check Directors Search Occupational History Check 1-10 yrs Adverse Financial Check Education Reference Check Employer Reference Check Personal Reference Check RTW DBS ID Check Professional Technical End-to-End BPSS Check: Provides a single, consolidated BPSS report for each candidate. The successful contractor will need to have an easy-to-use on-line portal to raise requests for various pre-employment checks and be able to get outcomes of the checks, as well as understanding the status of the requests.
