## Summary

Teignbridge District Council intends to procure cleaning services for its corporate, operational and leisure buildings, and public toilets across the district. The sites currently in scope include Forde House and Old Forde House, the Depot and Bulking Station, Newton Abbot Leisure Centre, Broadmeadow Sports Centre, Dawlish Leisure Centre, Teignbridge Business Centre and Sherborne House, as well as around 24 public toilet sites. Suppliers experienced in managing changing site lists will be well placed, as the Council expects locations to be added or removed during the contract. TUPE is expected to apply at some sites, so providers able to assess and manage staff transfers should consider the implications. The Council is exploring lotting to encourage small and local businesses, including possible division by site type or geographical area. It is also seeking supplier input on whether services should be specified by cleaning frequency or by outputs, who supplies equipment and consumables, and how social value should be addressed.
