The group manages approximately 32 playgrounds of varying ages and condition. The requirement is split between maintaining and repairing existing play areas, and designing and installing new or replacement facilities. Maintenance work covers planned inspections, routine servicing, reactive and emergency repairs, safety surfacing, minor refurbishments, condition surveys and asset reporting, including recommendations where equipment is beyond economic repair. The installation work includes designing, supplying, installing and commissioning new play equipment, as well as major refurbishment and full replacement of playgrounds. The buyer invited tenders through an open procedure. The procurement is divided into two lots: one for playground maintenance and repair, with a single provider appointment, and one for design and installation, with up to three providers appointed. The different appointment arrangements may suit a single maintenance provider and multiple design and installation suppliers. ## Notice Together Housing Group manages a portfolio of approximately 32 playgrounds of varying ages and condition across the Northwest and Yorkshire. This includes 22 playgrounds in Lancashire, 9 in Calderdale and 3 in Salford. We are seeking tenders from suitably experienced organisations for: * Lot 1 - Playground maintenance and repair services across the group, covering routine, reactive and corrective works; and * Lot 2 - Playground design and installation services, including the supply and installation of new play equipment as well as the delivery of full replacement playgrounds.
