## Summary

St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is planning maintenance, repair, technical support and lifecycle management for the existing car park management system at St George’s Hospital in London. The installed CAME Parkare system includes parking control equipment, access barriers, payment equipment, software, communications infrastructure and related assets. The intended service is to maintain and support this infrastructure without replacing the system. The work falls within preventive maintenance services and concerns the hospital’s car park operations. The Trust is using preliminary market engagement to understand what support the market can provide for the installed equipment and associated systems. This is an intention to explore a future procurement, not an invitation to tender or a commitment to proceed with a contract.

The process is at planning and consists of preliminary market engagement; no competition has been launched. The Trust expected suppliers to provide a capability statement of no more than four pages within seven calendar days of the engagement notice’s publication on 22 October 2026, with the engagement milestone dated 29 October 2026. The planned service period runs from 4 November 2026 to 3 November 2029, with a possible extension to 3 November 2031. The Trust will use market responses to inform its future procurement strategy and contracting arrangements. No procurement procedure, award criteria or contract value is established at this stage.

This engagement is relevant to suppliers able to maintain and support CAME Parkare car park management systems and keep an installed system operating without replacement. The Trust is seeking evidence of experience with the system, access to original manufacturer components, software updates and replacement parts, and any manufacturer accreditations, authorisations or approved partnership arrangements. It wants planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair capability, ongoing support for a live hospital car park, and experience in acute hospitals, the NHS or comparable critical public-sector settings. Suppliers should be able to explain their capacity, typical response times and service levels, as well as any technical, software, intellectual-property or manufacturer restrictions. The Trust is also interested in whether independent suppliers can provide the service.

## Notice

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise to identify suppliers capable of providing maintenance, repair, technical support and lifecycle management services for the Trust's existing car park management infrastructure. The purpose of this engagement is to understand the capability and capacity of the market to support the Trust's existing installed car park management solution and associated equipment. This notice is issued for market engagement purposes only and does not constitute a call for competition or commitment to undertake a procurement exercise.

### Planning Information

The Trust currently operates a CAME Parkare car park management system comprising parking control equipment, access barriers, payment equipment, associated software, communications infrastructure and related assets.
The purpose of this engagement is to determine whether suppliers within the market have the capability to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for the existing installed infrastructure without replacement of the existing system.
Interested suppliers are invited to provide information regarding:
• Experience maintaining and supporting CAME Parkare car park management systems.
• Ability to access and supply original manufacturer components, software updates and replacement parts.
• Relevant manufacturer accreditations, authorisations or approved partnership arrangements.
• Ability to provide planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services.
• Experience supporting acute hospital, NHS or similar critical public sector environments.
• Capacity to provide ongoing operational support for a live hospital car parking system.
• Typical response times and service level arrangements.
• Any limitations, restrictions or dependencies associated with supporting the existing infrastructure.
The Trust is particularly interested in understanding whether maintenance and support services can be provided by suppliers independent of the original equipment manufacturer and whether any technical, software, intellectual property or manufacturer-related restrictions would affect the delivery of services.
Suppliers wishing to participate should submit a capability statement of no more than four pages outlining their relevant experience, capability and approach.
Responses should be submitted within 7 calendar days of publication of this notice.
Information received may be used to inform the Trust's future procurement strategy and contracting arrangements.
