The Health Board has considered the provider's performance under a previous Pilot. The provider delivered the service in accordance with the contractual requirements and demonstrated its ability to meet the Health Board's clinical, operational and quality requirements. In reaching its decision, the Health Board considered the relevant basic selection criteria and key criteria under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. The provider has demonstrated satisfactory delivery of the pilot and is considered capable of delivering the proposed contract to a sufficient standard. The provider has established knowledge of the service requirements and care pathways and is well placed to support the continued delivery of digital pathology services.
