## Summary

The Kingsway Infrastructure Project, overseen by the City & County of Swansea, aims to revamp pedestrian and vehicle flow along The Kingsway, Swansea, and is currently in the award stage following its initiation as a tender. The original project's completion was disrupted due to the administration of Dawnus, prompting a limited procurement process as per the urgency regulations. Despite the project's status being marked as cancelled due to unforeseen events, the Council is considering awarding the contract to Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd, subject to internal approval. The procurement method is classified under works, with planning details already established under the EU-OJ scheme.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for construction and infrastructure businesses, especially those specialising in street configuration and urban development projects. Companies that can demonstrate the ability to execute large-scale municipal projects and address pedestrian and vehicle management will be well-suited to compete. The location in Swansea is key for local businesses looking to expand their portfolio in public service infrastructure. The contract's urgency further opens avenues for qualified businesses ready to engage in immediate project execution, establishing a strong footing in the regional infrastructure sector. Potential competitors should have agile business models to navigate limited procedural time frames and rigorous council approvals.

## Notice
