The Charity seeks to maximise the total return on funds held and the Charity seeks to adopt a conservative policy on risk and previously has adopted a flexible structure in respect of Asset Class Distribution. In terms of the current portfolio, the Local Health Board's investments had a market value of GPB 6.2m as at March 2019 and the portfolio is broken down over various sectors as shown in the tender documents. The Charity requires the successful supplier to manage the funds on behalf of the Charity in accordance with the required Charity Commission and other legal requirements placed on NHS charities.
