## Summary

Conwy County Borough Council is the buying organisation for this procurement process, seeking to provide Supported Living Services for People with Disabilities under the Light Touch Regime. The service focuses on areas within Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn, being divided into three distinct Lots. The procurement method applied is a selective approach, specifically a restricted procedure, and it falls under the services category. However, this tender has been cancelled at the award stage as of 18 November 2025. Despite going through the initial stages, all related Lots such as those in Colwyn Bay (East and West) and Old Colwyn were discontinued, indicating an unsuccessful procurement conclusion.

This tender offered extensive business growth opportunities for service providers capable of delivering flexible, person-centred, and outcome-focused support for individuals with learning and physical disabilities. Businesses with expertise in supported living services, particularly those with experience in similar social care settings, would have been well-suited to compete for this contract. However, business opportunities now lie in preparing for any future re-tendering processes, leveraging insights gained from the initial efforts to adapt service frameworks that cater to the specific needs of Conwy County Borough.
