The impact of severely reduced theatre activity in the Health Board during the Covid19 pandemic has worsened the position to the point where traditional solutions to lengthy and high-volume waiting lists are insufficient and undesirable. SB UHB are looking to direct award a contract for the use of Facilities only with Sancta Maria Hospital and St Joseph Hospital Newport as is required to allow the Health Board to continue providing critical care to its patients.
