## Summary

The Older People's Commissioner for Wales is seeking tenders for the development, hosting, and ongoing support of a new website aimed at enhancing communication with older people and stakeholders across Wales. This project falls under the services category, specifically focusing on provider services and web design and hosting. The procurement process is currently at the Award stage, with the contract being awarded in November 2021. The contract duration is set for four years from March 2022 to March 2026, with the option for a one-year extension until March 2027. The successful contractor is expected to deliver a fully compliant bilingual website by the launch date in March 2022, following a build and testing period.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in web design and development, as well as those providing hosting and maintenance services. Companies that can demonstrate creativity, adhere to accessibility standards, and engage effectively with community stakeholders will be well-positioned to compete. This project not only allows for growth within the tech sector but is also a chance for businesses to contribute to a social cause by enhancing access to vital information for older individuals in Wales.
